Duration: 15.01.2019 – 14.01.2022

Goal of the project:

The Digital Impact Lab is an place of experimental learning and development for the exchange and reflection between interested parties and experts on the digitization of our world. We want to initiate changes and focus on digitally supported, participative activities, combined with techniques and tools of digital culture, actions and workshop and teaching events.

Furthermore, we will pilot a new type of digital lab network in Bremen, Osterholz-Scharmbeck and Delmenhorst, with transfer potential to more than 60 other locations in Bremen and Niedersachsen. The focus here is on an approach for improving people's employability 4.0 and increasing the efficiency of companies in the region – with a digital creative, thinking and action space and with participative digital activities. The Digital Impact Lab is to be initiated at all three locations as a close lab network and implemented as an extracurricular and external experimental learning and experience space for digital culture.

It is intended to lay the foundation for an improved development of skilled workers for the transfer of future-crucial digital competencies and digitization knowledge to young adults in education and profession. The aim is to overcome the frequently occurring differences in the dual training system and to reduce dropout rates in the system through digital prior experience and to promote talent. First-time users for their respective locations are the Bildungswerk der Niedersächsischen Wirtschaft, the Campus OHZ and the M2C Institute Bremen.
